Kristy Ann Miner, RN, attended Colorado Northwestern Community College in Craig, Colorado, and was awarded her Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing in 2008. She remains at the forefront of her challenging field via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations. She feels that she owes her success to her hard work, determination, and great mentors. Outside work, she dedicates to camping, four-wheeling, quilting, crocheting, and knitting. When asked what made her choose a career in nursing, Kristy said “I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 3. I was always surrounded by the medical field and see this as a way to give back.” She is motivated at the start of each day by seeking to provide the best care possible for each of my patients all day every day.
